How to Amend Filings
You may find you need to amend a previously filed form from time to time. You can re-use the form you have already filed, if you have saved it on your computer. Listed below are instructions to amend a form:
- Navigate to the folder where your forms are stored, double click on the form name and it will be opened automatically and page 1 will be displayed;
- Click the Save As button in the toolbar and give the form a new name to create a new filing;
- Modify the form as needed, such as correcting an entry on the form;
- Check the amendment box on line 9;
- Re-sign the form and file it.
NOTE: These instructions will vary
depending on which version of the form you are
using:
- If you are using the IBM forms, you will
need to delete the signature to modify the form. See Re-using
Forms for more information;
- If you are using the Adobe
forms, you will need to click the Form Complete button again. See Filing Forms for more information.
